I didn’t think I was going to share this one. I

I didn’t think I was going to share this one. I wanted to do the song and movie justice and wanted this to be perfect. It’s such a powerful song and scene. 💚 But I’m not a perfect dancer, far from it. I left this class a little down on myself. There’s so much I need to work on. I knew I was unsteady on my feet, I knew my turns weren’t tight and powerful. I’m just not a strong technical dancer. And my self-doubt while dancing comes through in my emotions because I can tell that I’m not taking my instructor’s motto to heart…“DON’T THINK JUST FEEL”. There’s WAY too much thinking and holding back going on.

BUT, when I watched myself for the first time, I thought, “Ok, not as bad as I thought.” Yes, there are SO many things I need to work on, but that’s why I’m in the class. I’m trying to get better every day. This time last year I would not have been brave enough to get in front of class and dance this routine solo. It is probably the most technical routine he’s taught since I joined. But I did it. And I’m proud, so I’m sharing it. I’m being FEARLESS NOT PERFECT.

🧇Easy protein waffles with 45g of protein!🧇

1/4 cup oat flour (I made my own by blending rolled oats)
1/4 cup protein powder (I used vanilla)
1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
1 large egg
1 tsp baking power
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla
dash of salt

I make mine in a mini waffle maker, which makes 4 mini waffles for a single serving of approximately 390 calories and 45g protein. Top with maple syrup or yogurt and fruit. Enjoy!
